These raised beds are built into an elaborate hexagon shape, inspired from the bees honey comb to make a small farm. They utilize the space very efficiently with a more visual stunning shape than a typical design. It took a lot of detail to get these set up right! They’ve been planted here with a mix of veggies, herbs, and flowers. It was mulched with a path all around for ease of access. For the wood we used eastern red cedar, which is grown and milled here in Tennessee, making it a local wood source. The natural oils of the cedar make it rot resistant, and will sustain the elements for decades to come!
