Mazus Lawn

This client wanted a low maintenance lawn, so we replaced the grass with mazus! This ground cover is an ideal replacement for grass because it grows over the surface relatively quickly and can tolerate being stepped on and various shade and sunny conditions. What makes it even more amazing is that mazus doesn’t require mowing as it grows out. We put in two varieties that will blossom white and blue flowers! It takes some weeding to keep back competition following the initial installation, but once established should be very low upkeep.
